Salam to fellow bloggers and
readers of this “depending on a life support” blog!
Before I go on further I wish to take this opportunity to
wish all of my Muslim friends, Salam Aidilfitri and a thousand apologies for
not being able to say it much earlier. As most of you, who have been following
this so called blog may have recalled that I often been struck by the infamous “writers
cum mental blog syndrome” and recently I was again suffered another lapse of
the said syndrome!
Coming this Friday, 31 August 2012 Malaysia will celebrate
her 55th Independence that will see another splendid, exclusive and
colourful celebration. And this alone remain a big and huge question mark
inside my head; how would we be celebrating it?
The opposition ruled state comprises of Penang, Kedah,
Kelantan and Selangor has announced that they will not be adhering to this year’s
Merdeka theme “Promises and instead will be using their own.
To those who see things from a jangle point of view may
find that the Merdeka theme for this year lacks the spirit of unity and
patriotism. Nonetheless, I do believe that fulfilling one’s promises to the
country is without doubt oversees everything!
I pray and hope that no party will boycott the official Merdeka celebration which
will be held on 31 August 2012 at two different locations, the customary morning parade at Dataran Merdeka and the night gathering that will take place at the Bukit Jalil National
Stadium
Happy Independence Day to all, Dear Malaysians!
