JUMPING SHIP WHEN JUSTICE IS DELAYED AND DENIED

By – Hesmel Faznee Faisal

Of late, there has been a lot of brouhaha going on in the local political scenery. The call made by Opposition Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (Some blogs refers him as C.I.F.U.T B.A.B.I) for BN politicians to abandon the BN vessel and join in the Opposition boat have fallen on deaf ears. Not even a single BN MP adheres to the call made by the latter.

Ironically, there were a number of politicians from the Opposition pact who had instead decided to jump out from the PR ship and prefer to remain in the rough political sea, rather than climbing on the BN vessel.

There were rumors circling in both the opposition and the government camp about more and more PKR MPS’s and members who have lost their confidence in Anwar Ibrahim leaving the party; I don’t know and I don’t care!

One thing for sure, all plans lay by Anwar Ibrahim to topple the present Government through defection from BN MP’s, has become a weapon against him (atau senjata makan Tuan, Jose!).

Not only was he losing support in PKR and confidence with his leadership (two MP’s from his own party decided to quit as PKR members and remain as Independent. I’m not sure whether Zulkifli Noordin, the MP for Kulim will follow suit!), but also from the Rakyat whom I assumed are getting fed up and annoyed with the tactical strategies by the defense team to delay the ongoing trial.

I have always believed in the words by William Penn and Magna Carta; Justice Delayed is Justice Denied.
