Salam, to my fellow bloggers and bacalah readers.
Allahyarham Mikaeel has left us. For those who are not in the loop, this writer was referring to Michael Jackson who, before the time of his death had embraced Islam, and has changed his name to Mikaeel .
His legacy in the music industry is second to none. No one can deny that.
However, one thing that is beyond doubt is the tragic life he had to face through. From a meteoric rise to fame at a very young age, he was compelled to a very difficult life when, at the age of 40 his fame and fortune began to take a nose dive. He was declared a bankrupt and in order to cover up the debts his famous Neverland ranch had to be auctioned.
His peculiar lifestyle was one of the things the media mogul enjoys to write, especially when he was tried on the charge for child molestation. He was very passionate towards children, no doubt it was due to his upbringing, where according to reports he was as a child, was frequently abused by his father.
The upcoming This Is It concert, which was seen as his major comeback to the industry after more than 15 years hiatus, has put him under a lot of pressure. Everyone wants to see whether or not, after all this years, is he still able to do the famous “Moonwalking” routine and everyone wants their share slice of profit from this talented but tormented performer. Hence, even the slimy and greedy promoters had booked 50 shows, instead of the original plan which was 10, to take advantage on the poor soul.
Even during the time of his death, the media moguls was banking on stories about Allahyarham, even to the extend coming up with lots of stories on the cause of his death.
For this writer’s personal opinion, it was the media moguls who murdered Allahyarham. They should be solely responsible for his untimely death.
Allahyarham Mikaeel, may you rest in peace.
Alfatihah.
